So we were on our way to Virginia Beach when Darren's lip started to swell. He asked me if his lip looked funny, and I said "No, it looks fine." Well, an hour later he said, "Are you sure my lip doesn't look funny, it feels really swollen?" He turned to look at me and I freaked out! His lip looked like this!!! We immediately pulled over and looked up an Urgent Care, (for the second time in one week, see Williamsburg post) and it turns out he is allergic to Ibuprofen. The Dr. gave him a steroid shot, and some antihistamines. His lip got even bigger than this, (he is not pushing his lip out at all in the picture) but by the end of the day it was pretty much back to normal. He was a good sport, and we still ended up going to the beach.
Sienna was the only one having a good time at the Dr.'s office...she was glad she wasn't the patient this time.
Cayce's favorite thing to do at the beach was to have us bury him.
We probably buried him 5 times!

I'm so excited that you have blog!!! That picture of Darren is so funny! I had to call Jason in here from working to look at it! Poor guy! I am glad you all are having a great time! When you guys get back, let's get together. Your kids are SOOOO big (and cute!) Take care!
ok Sienna is getting so BIG she looks like a real little girl now. And Darrens lip was so funny, i can't believe he didn't know he was allergic to IBF.
